I like to hoard pretty things that aesthetically please me and inspire my work. I love to be surrounded by patterns, colours and textures. The charity shop is my long suffering friend. Markets also excite me a great deal. Long live the hoarder.

Inspiration found in a Rotterdam market

I designed the fabric and had it digitally printed then the chair was re-upholstered with it

I did actually give my Dad this card ON Father’s Day though, no fear!

Designed for my beautiful friend Enya for her 21st birthday

I have  been featured in a couple of design blogs recently, the German design book publisher Zeixs’ blog and the popular and inspiring Print & Pattern blog run by designer BowieStyle. I’m really chuffed to be featured on both theses sites as I’m a massive fan of the books Zeixs produce and am avid follower and fan of Print & Pattern, I check in every day for inspiration!

My website is now up and running! You will find it at www.designbybisi.com

The image below was designed for the Bristol Georgian Choir, to be used on their posters and flyers.

I haven’t posted for quite a while, but I have been busy, honest!  I did a couple of successful art fairs at the end of the year in London and had an exhibition in October with some fellow artists at the Centrespace Gallery in Bristol.

Next up are a couple more art fairs in Bristol. The Habourside market on the 1st May and the Christmas Steps Artisan Market on the 7th. Come say hi!

May is also when I plan to launch my new website so watch this space!
