So I haven’t posted anything for a while! After several long weeks of farm work to qualify for my 2nd year visa here in Australia, followed by a 5 week sojourn in Europe visiting family and friends, I am back in Melbourne armed with another 12 months of fun in the sun!

Back in the creative saddle, I recently designed an invite for the birthday celebrations of a good friend of mine

My Outdoor Studio OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI recently spent 2 months working on a peach orchard in a small town in NSW, Australia. Araluen is surrounded by lots of beautiful natural habitat and is inhabited by a lot of native wildlife. After work or on days off, I would often head to this pretty little secluded spot by the river and draw, think and read for hours. Bliss!

These designs of mine were available at ‘Ohh Deer’ an online design store a few months ago for a limited time.

This was an entry for a competition run by Anorak Magazine, a very cool magazine for kids (but let’s be honest, adults love it too!) The competition was to create a colouring page on theme of zoo and as the brief stated that the animals could be real or fictitious I chose to put a bit of  weird spin on my zoo. I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone a bit and come up with something quite surreal as I usually draw from reference but I this was a good challenge and I had a lot of fun doing it!
